Since we are already on our way
…traipsing to the shadowlands
marching to the rising flames,
our feet crumbling the gravel;
Since we have set off to fight,
our hearts coaxing The Light
to fill our baskets full of words
carrying the nudity of our souls;
awakening just before daybreak’s
sweet blue hour, we write our
testaments, storing them with
greatest care, these are memories
not of accomplishment but of
our broken promises, our wounded hearts

This does stir the heart and mind as I see it as being a warning to me to be more certain of our thoughts and actions and ultimate consequence! I when growing up loved Edgar Allen Poe, but he was really out there and even used opium and had a tough childhood for the times. But, I like that you get my imagination fired up but not too shockingly or enough to get me worried! To me interesting and stimulating imagination and gets one to ponder! Again, this is unique to me and very compelling!
By the way, thank you for your reading my blog, The Salvation Stone and giving a like! I was in a hurry again and rushed it on to press and early today I had time to look it over and realized I had some syntax errors that I thought might not give a clear enough impression of a few important factors. If you get the chance to see it again and if you think I altered it in a negative way do let me know so I can spend more time on it! I hope you have a lovely evening!
